Volunteering

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer here at the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden? It's a great opportunity to learn & share knowledge about native plants and also spend time with like-minded people.  Our wonderful volunteers provide guided tours, propagate plants, maintain the garden etc. If you are interested or just have some questions about possibly becoming a volunteer, please call our manager, Natalie Munns on 08 86419 117. It's a very rewarding experience.

Wattle Day at Arid Lands - Sunday 25th August

Wattle Day in Australia has officially been held on 1st September since 1992. However with the "Spring-like" conditions becoming earlier & earlier and with plants such as wattles already flowering, we have decided to hold our Wattle Day celebration a little early this year. We hope you can come & join in our Wattle inspired guided tour and then enjoy a delicious Devonshire Tea afterwards.
